Hugh Jackman Claims Ryan Reynolds Camps Outside His House So He’ll Star In Deadpool

Ever since it was announced that the fourth wall-shattering, massively tongue-in-cheek box office smash hit Deadpool was to have a sequel, rumours have been swirling around the ether as to which potential Hollywood superstars could be making a cameo in the second film.
Could Jimmy Fallon appear as a late night talk show host cum crime solving impresario? Could Jonah Hill make a cameo as a droll comedy side kick, always several paces behind the action? Just some of my own ideas for the Deadpool sequel there, in case you were wondering.

Fans, though, seem particularly enamoured with one potential cameo that would knock the first Deadpool out of the park it it actually came to fruition. Rumours have been circulating that Hugh Jackman, who is good friends with star of the film Ryan Reynolds, could be in line for an appearance in the second film.

In an interview with Uni Lad, Jackman appeared to stoke the fire after being asked if the rumours were true: “I’ve been asked that question a lot… Ryan Reynolds is literally camped outside my house right now. He’s not very good at hearing the word ‘no’.”
Unfortunately, later in the interview, Jackman seemed to shoot down the rumours, shattering Ryan Reynolds’ and our dreams. He said: “No mate, it’s time for me to move on.”

Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine for the final time this year in Logan, which is due out in March. Describing his emotions on leaving the franchise behind, Jackman said: “I love that character. I can’t say I’ll miss him because he’s not going anywhere. He’ll always be with me.
“This is really a love letter to the Wolverine fans. But beyond that, I wanted to make a movie that people who have never watched a comic book movie in their lives would see and get something out of.”

The franchise looks set to bow out on a high note, with early reviews of Logan overwhelmingly positive. British newspaper The Telegraph praised Jackman’s “charisma and and bulk” as “strappingly undiminished.” Deadpool 2 is still currently in the script writing phase, but filming is expected to commence in the first half of this year.
